Kas has always been captivated by the magic of movies. A lifelong passion for cinema and technology, shaped in his formative years, has carried him through every season of life. Today, as Founder and Creative Director of One Sol Film Company, LLC, he channels that love into building films and visual work that resonate, empower, and connect with audiences through innovative, story-first craft.

Founder’s Note

One Sol Film Company was born from a simple belief: every great project starts with a spark; one vision, one story, one moment worth capturing. As founder, I’m committed to blending creative intention with technical discipline across photography, high-concept animation, and independent film production. My journey has been guided by a deep respect for the art and science of filmmaking, and a drive to keep pushing what’s possible while staying grounded in authenticity.

I’m excited to build a community of creators and collaborators who value meaningful storytelling, strong craft, and work that leaves a lasting impact.

The Journey

Kasual’s journey began in childhood, sketching characters and fostering a fascination with science and technology. This passion deepened in high school drafting class, where he learned to balance technical precision with creative expression, a principle that continues to shape his work. During the early adoption of Computer-Aided Design (CAD), his teacher encouraged him to explore digital design’s transformative potential, laying the foundation for his future endeavors.

Although his path led first to the military and then to the technology industry, the skills he developed during his drafting days remained integral. In film, he discovered the perfect convergence of visual storytelling and technical precision.

Kasual’s professional journey began in the US Army, where he cultivated discipline and a commitment to excellence. With over 25 years of experience in technology, he combines strategic vision and technical expertise. He holds a Master of Business Administration and multiple certifications, including Agile Leadership, Certified ScrumMaster and FAA Part 107 Certified, which equip him to lead and adapt in a constantly evolving industry.

As the Founder of One Sol Film Company, he strives to create films that capture the essence of human experience, using leading-edge cinematography, sound editing & design, and VFX technology. He has established effective methods of production workflows to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
