Much of that passion came from my mother. She had an incredible love for art and creativity, which she passed on to my brother and me. In our early years, she encouraged us to draw, fostering our imaginations and teaching us that creativity was more than just a pastime—it was a way to express ourselves and bring beauty into the world. Her influence is something I carry with me every day, especially now as I work to build One Sol Film Company.

Equally influential was my grandmother, who taught me the power of faith. Her unwavering belief and steadfast guidance grounded me during life’s challenges and inspired me to keep the faith, no matter what. She reminded me that resilience and hope are at the heart of any journey worth pursuing.

Learning the fundamentals of design and working with early CAD tools taught me the discipline of balancing art and technology. But life had other plans. My family situation and a call to serve led me to the military, where I found purpose and honed skills in communication and leadership. While my path diverged, the dream of creating never faded.

For over 20 years, I built a career in technology, solving complex problems, managing projects, and leading teams. Yet, the creative spark always lingered, waiting for the right moment. In late 2023, I decided to take a leap of faith and founded One Sol Film Company. It wasn’t just about chasing a dream—it was about building a legacy for my daughter, something she could one day take pride in and potentially pass down to her children.

The journey hasn’t been easy. Balancing a career in technology with entrepreneurial ambitions has required resilience and adaptability. I’ve faced moments of doubt, but my commitment to leaving a meaningful legacy and staying true to my passions has kept me moving forward.
